FLYING TIGER 707 FREIGHTER Here is a model of the first airplane to fly over both the North and South poles. Nicknamed 'Pole Cat', the plane also set 8 records of this journey. The distinctive Flying Tiger markings supplied on the decal sheet include the Pole Cat name. #14504 -1/144 Scale $27.99
EASTERN 757-200 The "Great Silver Fleet" took advantage of the appearance of their new all-metal airliners in the 1930s. In the mid-sixties, Eastern's planes were white and displayed a three-tone stripe extending along the fuselage and sweeping up the tail, looking like a gigantic hockey stick. Upon taking delivery of their new 757 jetliners, they reverted back to the natural metal finish made popular by their old slogan. #14505 -1/144 Scale $26.99
PACIFIC SOUTHWEST AIRLINES L-188 ELECTRA Grinning from ear to ear, this PSA Electra reflects the whimsy found by passengers of this Southern California based airline. The colors reflect the shades of a California sunset, and the crewmembers found a great delight in pulling practical jokes on the passengers. Because of their lighthearted attitude, PSA was a popular airline.#14494 1/144 Scale $20.99
DELTA 777-200 Delta was the fourth major American airline to order the Triple Seven. This model is decorated with the airline's colorful modern, scarf-like livery flowing up the tail. The lengthy fuselage cheat line has been abandoned in favor of a simple logo and name along the front of the fuselage, giving this model a distinctive elegance. Delta selected the Rolls Royce Trent engines and this is reflected in this models kit. #14495 -1/144 Scale $48.99
UNITED B-377 STRATOCRUISER
AMERICAN AIRLINES DC-3 The DC-3 was a development of the Douglas DC-2 airliner. American liked the DC-2, but wanted something a bit larger to allow the addition of sleeping berths for overnight flights. The new plane was designated Douglas Sleeper Transport. It began operations in September, 1936. Douglas engineers realized that if they removed the sleeping facilities they could add seven more seats, and the DC-3 was created. The decals have the markings for an American DST and a DC-3. #14490 1/144 $18.99
EASTERN SUPER CONNIE The marking on this kit is probably the best-known livery of Eastern Great Silver Fleet. The stylized falcon logo is accentuated by the sweeping 'wing' of the blue cheat line through the windows. Until the arrival of the jetliners, a variation of this scheme was used on nearly every type flown by the airline. #14491 -1/144 Scale $20.99
