MIRCEA The Mircea was built in Germany, along with the Horst Wessel (USCG Eagle) and now serves as a school ship for the Rumanian Navy. The golden nameplates and Rumanian crest carried on the original ship are also supplied on the decal sheet. Full-blown sails can be used, or you can display the model at rest. A display stand is included in the kit and can be used to display the model in its entirety, or you can build it down to the waterline, as if it was floating. CRUISER USS TICONDEROGA The Ticonderoga is one of the US Navy’s modern guided missile cruisers with multi-mission capabilities. JUAN SEBASTIAN DE ELCANO A four masted, topsail schooner, the Juan Sebastian de Elcano has sailed around the world six times since it was launched in 1927. It is 370 long and carries 20 sails for its driving force. It is used now by Spain for crew training. This miniature replica of the ship has the four masts and all the sails needed to cruise into your model ship collection. The fine gold carving on the hull is reproduced on the decal sheet, and the model comes with a display stand for the full hull, or it can be built for display as if under full sail, plowing through the water of a diorama.
